Di Singapura terkenal dengan patung singa atau Merlion Park dan Marina Bay Sands. Kalau mau kesini dari Blue Jazz Hostel, kita menuju stasiun MRT Little India dan pilih jalur ungu menuju stasiun Dhoby Ghaut. Kemudiam kita turun dan pilih jalur Merah menuju stasiun Raffles Place.

The lion statue or Merlion Park and Marina Bay Sands are famous icon in Singapore. If you want to go there, from Blue Jazz Hostel, you go to Little India MRT station and choose the purple line to Dhoby Ghaut station. Then you go down and choose the Red line to Raffles Place station.

Stasiun MRT Raffles Place memang merupakan stasiun MRT yang terdekat dengan patung singa merlion. Akan tetapi patung singa tidak langsung berada di luar stasiun MRT tersebut. Butuh jalan kaki terlebih dulu dengan menyusuri sungai yang bernama Singapore River ke arah Fullerton Hotel.

Dari belakang Fullerton Hotel, kita harus menyeberangi jalan ke arah bangunan yang bertuliskan One Fullerton, dimana jika kita berada di Fullerton Hotel artinya menuju arah yang sama dengan bangunan tinggi berbentuk kapal di puncaknya yakni Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Patung singa merlion terletak persis di samping bangunan One Fullerton tersebut.

Setelah puas di Merlion Park, kalau mau kembali ke pelabuhan Harbourfront, kita pilih stasiun MRT Raffles Place jalur Merah ke arah stasiun Dhouby Ghaut. Lalu pindah ke jalur Ungu ke arah stasiun Harbourfront.
